With the West London Elizabeth Line changes due to take place in 4 weeks, just looked again at update Which buses are going on E10 as it says 60 capacity buses will be introduced (10 - 10.4m length) consultations.tfl.gov.uk/buses/elizabeth-line/Wonder where current 19reg 9.0m MMCs will move to Not sure I would believe that. I think that there’s an issue with longer buses on the E10 so the route can’t take them, if the route was able to take them they would have been ordered for the new contract.

Will the 159 frequency go back to what it use to be before the roadworks at wesminster? It should do although there may be slight tweaks to running times subject the scale of layout changes in the Westminster area. I don’t know the scale of the works involved but other recent cases suggest minimal impact.

2487 becomes the first route 109 bus to be refurbished. Thank goodness these MMCs are retaining their black surrounds.

Has the 159 definitely gone back to Marble Arch? I ask because all have got marble Arch on LVF but so far seen 2 blinded only for oxford circus and when I look at an eta for one going towards marble arch the prediction stops at oxford circus.
Just gone past the Marble Arch stand and none there.

This seems to be the second date as I'm sure Monday just gone was when the 159 was 'supposed' to return to Marble Arch?

If you then look on the ETA the buses don't seem to be tracking past Oxford Circus. When I was at Oxford Circus yesterday I still saw the 159s terminating at Oxford Circus, didn't think much of it until I read this thread. I know that it was reported on the internal grapevine from Abellio that the cut was due to be made permanent, however it was initially advertised as temporary. I wonder if this is another case of left hand not speaking to the right hand where someone at TfL didn't manage to get around to everyone that the 159 cut was due to be made permanent.

Yeah I was having a look at the ETA and did notice they didn't track beyond Oxford Circus, I just find this all very strange the route was meant to be returned back to Marble Arch last weekend according to the permanent bus changes document.
