Following on from TGM's sale of its London/Surrey routes to Travel london, now TGM has surrended its X27 route between Southampton and Portsmouth latterly operated by low floor single deckers off London route 726.
However, local operator Solent Blue Line (now part of the Go-Ahead group), with help from both Portsmouth and Southampton city council, has stepped in to save the route using Olympians and the brand the "Solent Shuttle" to an hourly frequency.
At least Solent Blue Line has a good chance of making this link work, as they have some Southampton city routes whereas to TGM this was a route well away from thier other operations!

Strange!, TGM must be playing about with bus Service. Also I heard Crenta is also going to sell ex-mictham belle buses soon. I am not 100% sure.
