Not for a while. Can't remember excatly when, but around the time the Victoria Line gets new trains - 2009 or 2011 I think. Some spare trains cascaded will transfer to the the Bakerloo Line to top up the allocation of trains. Remember by then, London Overground (the current North London Line and the East London Line plus extensions) will be fully operational.
Since Waterford is in Ireland won't this involve tunnelling under the Irish Sea?
It will be a pretty long undeground line. Do you know if the passport checks will be carried out on board ? Will there be catering facilities on the trains and more importantly toilets. I don't think I could keep my legs crossed for the sveral hour the jouney will take. Where will be the driver changeover points. ? Will we have to buy the tickets in Pounds Sterling or Euros. Gosh this is getting complicated.
