The evey growing proble of crime on our Railways claims another three victim who were stabbed at Holloway Road station. One of the victims is still unconcious in hospital.
Crime on London's railways has been increasing dramatically with a once relatively safe system now very dangerous. In the last 5 years crime has increased by just under 45%. A major contributary cause seems to be the total withdrawal of staff from many stations. Poor lighting being another problem. Little is being done to tackle the problem. Buses seem to be going down the same road with crime increasing on them fast. Trouble is now no longer confined to Evening neither. Its just as likely to occure in the middle of the day.

Another reason why Bendy buses should be banned from the road! You run such a risk any time of day from kids trying to snatch your Ipod or phone from your coat pocket, let alone the risk of getting 'jacked' (stabbed). It's too dark in the bus and it carries too many people. The driver has no idea what is going on at the back of the bus. People can kick off for a number of reasons, as seems to be the case with all these teen stabbings within the last few weeks.
