What I’ve found is that T are repainting the exterior in parts, because 10118 had 2 periods off the road and the first time it went off only a part of it was repainted and the second time the branding was removed and then was repainted fully. What I also meant was that 10117 hasn’t even been repainted so it’s no wonder the branding hasn’t been removed. Why are they bothering partially repaint buses if they are due to go for refurbishment soon. That is probably their refurbishment but they look to be doing it in 3 parts. From what I have seen so far: 1: They are repainted without branding removed. 2: Branding gets removed and the branded bits and it is fully repainted. 3: The interior is refurbished? - No buses have had their interiors refurbished yet.

Right so after my previous comment about EH20, it now regens every single time it stops. This bus seriously has something wrong with it. This is about the 4/5th problem I’ve noted with that particular one

This is about the 4/5th problem I’ve noted with that particular one I think you’re getting confused On ADL Hybrids pre MMC anytime you let off the accelerator regen kicks in, that’s how the are set up, even if the engine isn’t revving up, it’s still doing the regen braking effect, if they are revving up while braking it’s because they need extra charge to deliver the same amount of regen braking force, if they are revving up while stationary it can be for multiple things, such as low battery, Air Con on, the list goes on, and this is the case for many buses For example Volvo Hybrids will rev up while stopped to charge the battery, they will also idle differently if they are doing a DPF regeneration Just because the bus is doing something different doesn’t mean there are any problems with it, you just might not experience all the characteristics of that vehicle unless certain requirements are met

It isn’t normal for a hybrid to not do it at all one day, then every single time another day. Also, what do you mean regen braking force?

8524 broke down outside Purley Tesco on route 407 whilst heading to Sutton with an apparent battery issue, as the battery flap below the drivers cab was open with an engineer in attendance. Not quite sure how buses are going to serve the Purley High Street/Purley Tesco stop as the bus is blocking the way out.

Hmmm compared with what VLAs, VLWs and VWLs are capable of, I've never heard a Stagecoach London E400 get that loud . Bar the one on the 86 earlier this year, and the 56 batch at TB. Regardless of whether it's a cooling fan or something else, there's definitely been something wrong with 10121 for almost a year now. And when I thought I heard it coming my way, I was very surprised to see that it was in fact 10122 turning a corner at The Bell..... almost as if it were about to heave itself up the likes of Highgate Hill!

B7TL's had a fault with their cooling fan which is why they were very loud. Cooling fans generally are noisy which is what I was referring to.
