15010: LX58CEU was leaking petrol at Havering Park at 15:15 today. Buses don't use petrol, I think you meant diesel. Yes, I said petrol because I was about to go and get petrol at the time of posting.

There’s gonna be plenty of broken down buses today due to the heat, just seen WS20272 broken down at Coulsdon South Station whilst on route 463

Went on Metroline VWH2031 (LK64 EDU) on the 307 earlier, and when accelerating it was making a very funny screeching noise. I suspect it is a fanbelt or somthing.

HV144 on the 133 with a very noisy exhaust, which sounds kind of cool in combination with the gear shifting as it sounds a like a souped up car.

VW1199 on the 292 with the front number blind stuck between N5 and N16.

WVL340 on the X26 earlier suddenly started making a horrendously loud hissing sound, got to New Malden and the engine turns off and driver says bus is broken. When I got off, the sound was coming directly from above the door but I couldn’t figure out what it was. Presuming it was taken out of service If the hissing was above the door then it will be an air line to the door system. Normally a hiss wont be an issue but it depends how loud and how much pressure the system is losing.

Believe this is the first time I’m saying this about one of the 434 buses but 190 broke down at Whyteleafe Station this afternoon whilst on route 434. I later snapped it heading through Purley with an engineer taking it back to C and 191 has now taken its place, albeit with some mileage lost.

164 has quite possibly the worst turbo whine I’ve ever heard as it went past me in Orpington whilst on route R4

Currently on E258 on the 37 and the exit door is making the most awful sound. I can only describe as if someone is scraping a metal bar along a cement floor

Just heard 164 drive past with the loudest turbo I’ve ever heard. Not the nicest of sounds!
