MEC62 towed away yesterday seen heading towards Gatwick i presume to Mercedes. WS4 towed in this afternoon having given up on the R3 These MECs aren’t at their best right now are they, MEC62 being towed off, MEC51 involve in a serious collision, MEC54/MEC56/MEC60 withdrawn after the Orpington fire last year. MEC62 hasn’t been seen in a few days. Along with that, a Scania was away not long ago and 561 seems to have been away for a few days.

SP40085 has a flat Battery and is stuck in Golders Green. I just got on its replacement SP0038 which has left a few minutes late so I'm hoping for a tonne of thrash

One of our Engineers told me a Scania is off the road for radio problems.

One of our Engineers told me a Scania is off the road for radio problems. It's a shame really as they're a great batch of buses very much suited to the 358. Will certainly take some time to get used to seeing SEe's (which is most likely what will be ordered) on the 358 later this year. Doesn't Mercedes have an electric version of the Citaro that could be potentially ordered? The Scania you mention that's off the road for radio issues is 561 according to LVF.

Yeah Mercedes do, the SEe's according to the internet do about 159 miles of range so can do 4-5 rounders . Someone mentioned about charging plates being installed at Crystal Palace but treat that as a rumour for now.

Even if there was an electric Citaro I don't see them being ordered. It'll just provide commonality within the whole Go Ahead fleet should they stick to See's.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this was actually the case, if TfL hope to make the whole fleet electric they’ll need to install quite a few charging plates across London’s bus stations and at stands, otherwise we will see an increase in mileage being lost due to buses having to return to the garage to charge.

8782 is another bus not sounding particularly healthy on route 433 this afternoon. Shame really as that used to be quite a decent bus

The engine of T1 on the 250 doesn't sound too healthy, the engine appear to be misfiring
