2581’s hybrid system was not sounding particularly healthy on the 407 this evening. It also had a very worn out horn which the driver had to blast to get someone parked in the way at Purley Station to move A pity TfL/operators don't spec those loud horns used on DB250s and LTs from new. Even nowadays I l've heard the occasional LT with retrofitted horns that sound so inferior in comparison.

VW1292 has a relatively knackered engine, it keeps screeching like a cricket when accelerating and has been the case for the past month

SE188 broken down at Putney Heath yesterday. Engine sounded like it was dying and driver had to keep pressing the pedal as it kept sounding worse and worse, becoming quieter and quieter until it just turned off and wouldn't turn back on, with doors having issues closing as well

ENL67 broken down at Claps Gate Lane Beckton. Recovery had just arrived to assist the bus around 6pm but was causing issues as it was broken down in the middle lane at the traffic lights.

1001 broke down on 322 by St Cloud Road/St Gothard Road (it's favourite restriction keeping it 9m) in the morning, took about 14 hours of 322 being diverted via 432 for the 322 to see service on the road again

3018 broke down between traffic islands on the 111 towards Heathrow, just as it was setting off from the Springwell Road mini roundabout on Cranford Lane . This trapped LT987, 3017 and 3020 behind it (they were parked at the "Heston Health Centre" stop, although the last one was in the middle of the road). By the time I passed just after 1700, police had closed the road at the roundabout with Vicarage Farm Road. However, I think there wasn't enough space for a bus to pass the last of the trapped buses, so the 111 was diverted in both directions.

36552 Packed up on the 314. I’m currently on it and the driver can’t open any of the doors to let anyone on or off. Not even using the emergency button. Heard him say none of his buttons on the dash are working and the bus is just continuously beeping.

Witnessed EMC7 running out of charge at Swan and Sugar Loaf whilst heading back to South Croydon Garage on the 312. It slowly crawled to a halt, agonisingly not far from home. Was quite amusing to say the least, even the driver was laughing.

Multiplex fault, normally caused by a broken wire, sometimes if you’re lucky adjusting the dashboard will solve it, it’s a really common fault on Enviro’s of all ages, and normally will disable the bus in quite a dramatic way, sometimes they are drivable sometimes not
