I think Arriva's just basically stating his opinion that he doesn't like the new version Solos and is dissapointed at Transdev ordering them. It's simply an opinion he wished to address, even if his opinion is sexed up a bit. lol

Each to their own though i suppose

The Olympus, Esteem, Tempo, Solo and Versa are all ugly in my personal opinion. ;D
By far the E400 is the best looking vehicle at the moment, followed by the Wright Eclipse.

I will defend ELC vehicles until my face goes blue The e400 though is a cracking looking vehicle, just a shame that companies seemed to have stopped ordering Voith examples.

I'm Suprised Nobody Has Picked this up but according to Londonbusroutes.net
The Rv1 Is Due To Get New VDL SB200/Pulsar hydrogen powered single deckers introduced by December 2009.
So does This Mean First Have retained The Contract?

So does This Mean First Have retained The Contract? Not necessarily. First had a small refuelling plant for the three experimental vehicles when based at Waterden Road, but in practice usually went toRomford to refuel. The only other nitrogen site I know of was in the Old Kent Road (on the Gas Works site), but that is being redeveloped for housing. So, the new operator (if BoJo has not cancelled them already) would have to construct a refuelling facility from scratch. However, with three times the number of vehicles involved, it would be more viable. Time will tell.

Everyone is free to express their own opinions , so if you dont like my opinion tuff!!, the versa and solo sr are flipping ugly . There are alot of people's opinions that I do not agree with such as in the case of alot of people dislike the olympus/esteem but I am not rude to them about it , it is their opinion. Also their opinion has not stopped operators ordering those either.

I think they used to use the BP garage on the A127 as they had a Hydrogen pump there, but they've recently removed it so i don't know where they'll be getting refulled, unless DM has this installed at the garage.

Spot on. The garage mechanics used to take them down there as part of their post-check run.

I read that all previously ordered hydrogen bus orders had been cancelled but londonbusroutes.net still has this on their pages as mcv has pointed out . Anyone shed any light on this?

That is correct thats why there is only monday - friday operations on the 507/521. Anyway I only hope they do not order those hydrogen things for the RV1 seriously, them things are boring.
