1967 stock is right (the ones on the Victoria Line), but I'm not sure what you mean by 2001 stock (as they don't exist) Which line are you referring to? Oh yh, I meant C stock, the Jubilee Line ones. Those are 1996 stock (the ones on the Jubilee line) - the C stock is much older (some date from 1969, others from 1977, hence the 'C69'/'C77' names) operate on the Circle, Hammersmith and City and (part of) the District lines. Hope I'm not confusing you here

Well, if we're going into this, mine would be this;
1996 stock - only because they sound like a formula 1 car as already stated (plus i get to ride them again next week regularly ;D) 1992 stock - well, they're fast movers lool Whatever the stock is on the Met Line. Only like because they have the most comfortable seats on the network for me

For me the best all round is the Jubilee 1996 stock – good acceleration, spacious-looking uncluttered interior, well maintained. The similar Northern Line stock I disdained as too sluggish, until enlightened by this (new-found) thread explaining the 62% slug. Also until the recent refurb, the interiors were grubby and windows etched. I find the Central stock the most efficient – best acceleration, a tad faster than the Jubilee, and the smooth pinpoint deceleration thanks to ATO. Interiors seem cluttered compared to the 1996 lot. Looking forward to ATO on the Jubilee – late next year I think? But I won't hold my breath for ATO on the Northern. Then there's the venerable A60/62 on the Met – relaxed, civilised (and plenty of seats, unlike the S replacements). Interesting to reflect that of the stock that they displaced, the oldest dated back to 1898! (the Chesham shuttle: www.metroland.org.uk/cheshamflyer/index.htm).

Central lines stock is my fav too. Cant stand the sound the jubilee line trains make when they start ! You're banned!!!! ;D On a serious note, i'm becoming more and more frustrated by the District line. God d*mn it, they're so slow it's terrible. I know the reasons why, but when you're so used to the Jubilee Line, you get used to some speed.

I've found that the District's been nice to me over the past few weeks - certainly gets me from A to B quicker than that blasted Hammersmith & City ;D Which is one reason why I'm removing 'C Stock' from my favourites list

Funny enough, I did always believe that the District Line is slow, like when sometimes the Central Line and the District Line approach at the same time at Mile End lol, but it is actually reasonable, like from Dagenham - West Ham, it does go a reasonable speed.
I believe that the jubilee lines acceleration and braking sounds fantastic. Plus when the Jubilee line is in the tunnel, I think it goes quite fast, especially Canning Town - Bermondsey, but I realize that the trains break for long, before entering the station, making it seem slow!

LOL ;D ;D ;D If you say that, then it'll also apply to the 1973 stock since both of them are nearly the same! Both of these trains are 2 of my all time favourites too ,as well as the 1996 stock.
