I pronounce it Bom-bar-de-ey as it is a French name - its world HQ is in Montréal, Canada which is a French-speaking city. It's not always straightforward to decide whether to use the original pronunciation or the English pronunciation. As a French speaker I have a tendency to pronounce names like Beauchamp or Beaulieu in French, but I've realised that that just confuses people because the English pronunciation of those names is very different. On the other hand I'd always say "Pariss" rather than "Paree" when speaking English.
If we follow the logic of looking at where companies are based should we be pronouncing RATP as "Air-Ah-Tay-Pay"?

When I type "RATP" into Google Search it comes up with "Ratpack" as an option. Does anyone else find this amusing? OK only me then. But I digress - yes, logically I should be pronouncing it Air-ah-tay-pay - but I'm not always logical. I say "Beecham" and "Bewley" as I recognise that these are French names that have become anglicised over hundreds of years. But to me Bombardier is a French-Canadian company, so "Bom-ar-deer" is just wrong.

I pronounce it Bom-bar-de-ey as it is a French name - its world HQ is in Montréal, Canada which is a French-speaking city. Is the correct pronunciation. I say this because I once used that pronunciation to buy a pint of Bombardeer beer in Derbyshire. I was told off most severely that they were not selling pints of the local train manufacturer. I have never forgotten the humiliation in getting the difference wrong.
