Indeed so, for route 3. Although it's a single decker, they also had 8501 in the past. They also had single deckers DA1 for the 322 and DP1 for the G1, this being at a time when Tridents 9701+ were still labelled as TA1+. Come to think of it I think even 9401+ were originally labelled as ED1+ with 8501 i think as ES401. However their idents didn't last long prior to renumbering into the National Express sequence. That’s right as the 344’s part batch of Enviro 400’s were the first new buses under the new numbering system right after the ED batch for the 452.

U? I wonder why it has returned seeing as BX already has spares it doesn't need.

U? I wonder why it has returned seeing as BX already has spares it doesn't need. Perhaps C are looking to have newer buses allocated to the 127. The most obvious outcome would have been for the WHVs to stay and for the older Es to leave from the losses of the 202 and 405 unless perhaps GAL have a plan to transfer some other buses to C for the 127.

I thought (U) meant Unallocated? I was always in the VJ camp here and thought it meant unlicensed ... At least that is how I thought it worked from a LOTS perspective.

DA1 to me will always be a Optare Delta, demonstrator at TH and TB before ending up at Westlink in my eyes ... great looking buses ... Such a shame when they were taken over by Blackburn, they seemed to lose their creativity.

U? I wonder why it has returned seeing as BX already has spares it doesn't need. A source on Facebook has mentioned that it has returned to Bexleyheath to undergo work there, I’m not entirely sure what exactly but my guess is that it’s possibly on a similar scale to E38. DOE24 is also at BX undergoing an engine rebuild
