Something I forgot to mention yesterday but VWH1363 has followed VWH1362 in being refurbished, looking nice and fresh on the 302. Looks like the VPs have had an even further extended stay, with these now being refurbished.

I wonder why they’ve been prioritised over the 12-reg VWs which should also be starting their refurb programme soon 🤔

Also gives the VPs an extended stay.

Do you happen to know where your DWs are being refurbished? DT 11 can correct me if I'm wrong here but by the looks of things they're being done at Milton Keynes (interior) and Enfield (exterior) Correct same as where T288-300 were done, in addition to that more recently DW245-258 at DX, HV1-17 at BN, DW259-274 at TC and many others. Also a few things that give away the locations of refurbishments. Headlights not painted Red, only Hants & Dorset paint them on Gemini 2s Fleet numbers applied with a space between the Code and the number “DW 430”, anything done by Hants & Dorset there is no space “DW202” Garage codes, applied in Block Bold Lettering, anything done by Hants & Dorset is fine lettering. Put a DX & GY DW next to each other and you’ll notice these differences.

I do have a theory, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the latter three routes are all insanely busy. So maybe the plan is to absolutely run those buses into the ground, then refurbish them later so that they won’t have the chance to get worn out quickly after refurb and give them a higher book value when the contracts end for a higher selling price. Total guess though could be totally wrong.

In addition you seem to be forgetting that routes 66, 103, 150, 175 & 370 contracts began after the 250 contract and others mentioned so please don’t pin point on DT refurbs please You also forget the 410 contract which began on the same date as the 250. You missed out the 313 with 279 & W3. The 194, 255 & 289 refurbs have been done and began on the same date as the 250 do these will eventually will be done. GY refurbs are soon finished so watch out on Hants & Dorset Facebook Page because they are always posting pictures.
