I wonder why these 99/269/401 refurbs have been prioritised over the 250/279/W3. I do have a theory, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the latter three routes are all insanely busy. So maybe the plan is to absolutely run those buses into the ground, then refurbish them later so that they won’t have the chance to get worn out quickly after refurb and give them a higher book value when the contracts end for a higher selling price. Total guess though could be totally wrong. rj131 & YY13VKP . As I was saying a few posts above. GY refurbs are soon complete look what’s turned up at Hants & Dorset trim Thornton Heath’s T118
It has nothing to do with that refurbishments are done by route not by garage. In addition you seem to be forgetting that routes 66, 103, 150, 175 & 370 contracts began after the 250 contract and others mentioned so please don’t pin point on DT refurbs please You also forget the 410 contract which began on the same date as the 250. You missed out the 313 with 279 & W3. The 194, 255 & 289 refurbs have been done and began on the same date as the 250 do these will eventually will be done. GY refurbs are soon finished so watch out on Hants & Dorset Facebook Page because they are always posting pictures. More intrigued about the bus next to T118 .... any ideas?

What an unbelievable coincidence that’s obviously why these 250/W3/279 etc refurbs haven’t happened yet, they’re booked into the trim and can only do on at a time at least they’re finally starting!

Didn't you not realise that H&D's can only really do one batch at a time since they're busy with work?

Yes I did, that’s what I was saying that’s why I was saying the 250’s refurbs are so late, being queued up after the GY refurbs when they’re finished. Presumably after the 250’s will come the W3/279 or 313

DW229 & E191 both now refurbished.
This just leaves DW230 at GY to return from refurb and that will mean the refurbishment of DW's at GY is fully completed.

Just saw the post about E191 on Facebook, stunning as usual, wouldn’t expect anything less with Hants and Dorset. Though what Es have now been refurbished for the 104 as I haven’t been able to keep track.

For what route?! I have been told that WVN24/25, WVL276 & 332 were in fact transferred for Route 679 and 652 whilst WVL446 was for the 104. E130: SN60BZB E135: SN60BZG E136: SN60BZH E137: SN60BZJ E202: SN61BKJ E207: SN61DCY The above have all been re-blinded for Route 104. Although E135 has not been seen on Route 104, it has been blinded, my thoughts are that it is not being kept off of it until a refurbishment to get rid of the grey skirting/ be upgraded to Euro 6 emissions.

I don't think the grey skirt will matter whether it ends up on the 104 or not, the 104 also doesn't go through any green bus zones yet as I don't think the Stratford one has kicked in.

I thought the same. Also most of the school E400 have grey skirt and appear almost daily on the 104.
