the 575 goes from Epping to Lakeside, not Harlow. the 55 special to Romford from Harlow wont be a registered service as such, im not really sure how it will be operating but there are leaflets around Harlow bus station on on the 55 bus itself pictures of the 575 in Romford if interested: Epping Harlow, close enough ;D Personally, i think the 575 is a fantastic idea. I just hope it takes off. BTW, i can't see the pics

The new commercial route, 575, operated by Blue Triangle is a shopper's bus to Romford & Lakeside via Debden, Abridge, Havering-atte-Bower etc. to Romford Stn. then non stop to Lakeside. The service commenced on Nov. 3, and runs once a day in both directions Mon. to Friday.

The 55 to Romford service has started since 15th October and has more than one going and return journey.

I think the 575 pictures were taken on the first day of operation though, hopefully it will see some passengers soon! I have seen notices about the 55 special variation to Romford, but i havent seen it operating at all. Another picture of the 575- martinruthe.fotopic.net/p54757412.html

One thing ive noticed recently is that many H1s starting from Loughton Station cut out the High Road completly by going up Alderton Hill and Borders Lane, even with passengers on board. What happens if there are people waiting for the H1 in the High Road or at Sainsbury's and it doesnt turn up, then they are obviously going to catch the 55 and not bother with the H1 any longer. This really surprises me as they are usually many people waiting in the High Road for the H1, and it seems that Imperial Buses actually don't mind losing passengers and money! ???Somehow I don't think the H1 will last much longer, especially with the 55 in competition One other thing I'd like to note is that the 55 now has extra journeys to Ongar and Pilgrims Hatch at peak times, aswell as going via North Weald Market on saturdays. The 55 doesnt just go from Loughton to harlow any longer! it seems to go everywhere- Romford (this is a special service and is unlicensed i believe), Brentwood (1 return journey), North Weald Market, Ongar, Pilgrims Hatch, aswell as the L55 to Lakeside

But surely there should be only really one or two bus routes the most, which goes Harlow - Debden and onto Romford. If it works like this, then money can be saved and more passengers would be used. So like; Princess Alexandra Hospital - Harlow - North Weald - Epping - Debden - Loughton - Romford While you still have 575 could still operate and Route H1 discontinue

Route 55 is set to return again in the form of the X55 It will operate between Debden and Harlow. TWH recently one the Essex contract route 392 (Harlow Town Station to Hoddesdon) which will start on the 1st Sep. The X55 has returned to act as a feeder service for route 392. Im looking forward to seeing brand new buses (hopefully)

My guess is no. Hardly any passengers use the bus between the Loughton/Debden area and Epping/Harlow anyway. But this time TWH wont have much to lose, seeing as its basically a feeder route between their base at Collier Row and the 392 at Harlow.
