When i was waiting for route N159, and ticket machine is out of order coz free fares for while , but ibus is turn off. Maybe it could not play properly with the ticket machine on! maybe?

ibus is self programmable if the ETM os out of use for whatever reason.

I am proberbly not the best person to comment on this but what the hell - as I understand it yes its thought about but is alot of background work for one night - how many routes are on diversion etc. Its the same as Notting Hill Carnival maybe it will be considered in the future as I don't doubt its not a bad thing but you wouldn't believe the work that is required.

Would it not be simpler to have a pre-recorded anouncement(s) that 'Due to special events today, routes are subject to diversion and/or curtailment'. Better still, turn the bloody things off for a day!

I-BUS doesn't like curtailments ;D ;D ;D I reckon it's done that way deliberately so that drivers can't turn themselves, especially if the bus is not all that late.
