It's been reported that Ensign are doing an emergency Overground replacement Walthamstow-Chingford, this being due to a derailment. Photo credit to Christopher Rose Oh dear. When will the replacement bus start?

Does anyone know who is running this Sundays Balham to West Croydon via Streatham Hill RRS? What route does it take? How long is it scheduled to take? Are there any particular vehicles/batches that will be used?

Are there any particular vehicles/batches that will be used? It's been a while since I last used the service so things might have changed, but the route as I remember it is:
Balham - Streatham Hill via Clapham South, Poynders Road, King's Avenue and Thornton Avenue; Streatham Hill - Tulse Hill via A23 and Christchurch Road; Tulse Hill - West Norwood via Norwood Road; West Norwood - Gipsy Hill via Gipsy Road (most of which is not usually traversed by buses in service); Gipsy Hill - Crystal Palace via Westow Hill triangle; then via 157 for the remaining stations.

I haven't seen them run via Clapham South before so things must of changed since my last ride lol - the last time I rode it, buses ran via St. Leonard's Church & Tooting Bec to reach Balham.

I guess it could be down to individual driver preference, or traffic conditions on the day. Or there might be different routeings in each direction - I'm not sure I've ever used it in the Balham direction. I just hope no-one thinks of trying Bedford Hill as a shortcut!

Just spotted a Metroline bus on DLR replacement work stuck in the wrong lane about to enter the Blackwall Tunnel southbound. The driver had his hazard lights on. He is going to have to hope cars will let him cross two lanes of queuing traffic waiting at the lights to enter the tunnel.

He is going to have to hope cars will let him cross two lanes of queuing traffic waiting at the lights to enter the tunnel. This happens on the odd occasion on the Barking to Tower Hill route too. Sometimes the buses go through the tunnel and you'd hope the driver would find their way to North Greenwich instead of going back the way they came!
