Hi guys, Right, i'm having abit of a debate with a mate at uni about the speed of the DLR Stock. Now, he reckons that he struggles to overtake them while he's doing 50-60mph. Where as from my own perspective on them, they only seem to be doing 40-45mph. Now, what i want to know is the top speed and line speed of these. I'll be extremely grateful for you help

From my Platform 5 "EMU and Light Rail" fleetbook it shows the DLR units have a max speed of 50mph (these includes the new units as well).

I believe one of the fastest part of the DLR was Devons Road to All Saints, before Langdon Park was formed.
