So, just out of curiosity, what did happen to Metroline's North Wembley base (NW) after it closed down?

New Optare Solos coming to Metroline. Unless Arriva Lend them the Optares which originally came from Metroline. Is this speculation, or confirmed order. Presumably about 6 (narrow) buses for H2, H3, 631 SR slim (euroIV) is available as 7.87m or 8.57m (max capacity 35 or 38), possibly less with weighty TfL equipment), so which length? I have heard that this is a confirmed order however I'm not sure on the length. A rumour I've also heard is that these buses will have LED blinds although I'd wait for conformation from @tp446 or anyone else in the know about this subject

Is it true about the LED blinds (I guess a way to end all this Banditry across London ) I wait with baited breath regarding the LED blinds

No longer any options for alternatives.

No evidence of TfL accepting dot matrix displays.
In terms of technology they are out of date,
Black and white displays on flat screens are coming. Far superior.

I think they might mean LCD display like SEe9 - but I guess we'll have to wait and SEe (gets coat)

Or is there now less VWHs and the electrics are 2476-2498
