Overall I do (I am a big fan of the E400 City bodywork generally and find it very stylish), although I think on the Metroline BDEs, having the stairwell unglazed and black to accommodate advertising is a retrograde step. Living in Bethnal Green I see E400 Citys every day on the 26 and 388, but it is not a common type of bodywork in London and I wonder if for some enthusiasts who don't see it regularly, it looks unfamiliar and somehow odd (that's not a criticism BTW). Me and @rhys live in Brixton and see Arriva's HA's regularly so it's not that reason - it's just odd regarding the decision about the staircase to not glaze it when all other examples for London and elsewhere have had glass fitted as I'd presumed it was as standard. I wonder if this has anything to do with more money being paid from T shaped adverts as opposed to that design the City's and LTs seem to carry. On that note has anyone actually seen a City carrying an offside advert? I've never seen it for some reason and I'm not sure if this is because the ones which do just evade me or if genuinely none carry any.

The 125 isn't going too well for the first day in my opinion. Many buses displaying Finchley instead Colindale, no labels at bus stops indicating the 125 either has been extended or stopping there, frequency is about 1 bus coming after 3 4 minutes than the one in front and then the next one about 8 9 minutes and plenty of them are running empty. Not sure if the iBus has been updated because LVF countdown is missing some stops. Anyway so far is nice to see the 125 around Hendon and I wish the route will be back on track from next couple of days.

When VW1819 move to AC? I didn’t think AC had any ex First VWs but perhaps it’s transferred there from G to oust the last of the VPs?

Lack of joined up planning. You cannot possibly expect to inter-work services run by different operators who could adjust their times whenever. All three routes probably have different scheduled running times between the same points in Tulse Hill too. Using 13 and N113 as an example, you would expect for a 30 minute night bus service to have some level of coordination along the common section between Finchley Road and Oxford Street to maybe provide a 15-minute frequency but definitely not. They are timetabled to arrive at the common section in both directions either at the same time or within 5 minutes of each other. The tender specification for these two routes should clarify matters. If the tenders say the two routes should be interlinked to provide a combined 15 minute service, then the operators have to follow this. I haven't seen the tenders and given that the times aren't interlinked I can only imagine the tender specification doesn't demand a combined 15 minute service. So it back to TfL as to why not.

I think maybe if RATP get the 10.2m variant of the Enviro200EV, they'd call them "BMEs" I wonder if Go-Ahead order Enviro 400 City EVs in the future what fleet would they give them? I literally can't think of one lool As Go-Ahead operate largely around Remain areas (London, Brighton, Oxford, Norwich, Manchester, Newcastle) they could consider Electric Enviro City, so EEC.

The whole look of the BDE I just don't like it. Although E400-City bodywork is not that commonplace yet, I have already sampled it in London (routes 78 & 133), Wrexham, Reading, Plymouth, Nottingham and Glasgow.

What about for RATP, I was thinking that BDE is something RATP would go for the Enviro 400 City EV, any other ideas for fleet code for RATP

Seeing as the 125s extension has been long coming. I am surprised to find that none of the bus stops between Finchley central and church end have 125 on them except one new bus stop located just after the junction of church end towards the quadrant. Also none of the VWHs or TEs have Colindale station and are still showing Finchley central

Despite not being advertised, the loads seem good from what I have seen.

I don't know how to check LVF history but I see that VMH2546 got a run out on the 125 earlier on today. VWHs suit the 134 better than the 125 imo.

It may be due to it not being selectable. Here’s a picture of a TE with it on the blinds last year (not my picture) www.flickr.com/photos/149557469@N02/28806142047/in/photolist-KTv1rv-d1nM6b-29QrzPt
