Do we know what is going to be used on the 81? Ex 207 VWs (12 Reg) There's only 14 12reg VWs that transferred from HT to the 207, so the 81 will need 4 more VWs to complete the TVR, perhaps the rest can be the ex-First 10reg VWs or some more 12reg VWs from HT

That reminds me, at G they'll have to hang on to a 10-reg VW pending the 607's cutback

Metroline could have an advantage to win the 191 using the 34s VWHs as there will be enough for the route with the rest used for the 125 and PB will have space to accommodate the route

If these are withdrawn, I think the 81 would likely receieve the 12reg from the 207 topped up by 11reg from the 90 (once the 90 receives its VMHs). I also think the 240 may end up with TEHs instead of VWs.

How have the 134 loadings been doing since the TCR cutback? I would imagine it’s taken a bit of a hit.

I also think the 240 may end up with TEHs instead of VWs. TEHs from were? There's already some TEHs at EW surplus to the 32's allocation. Either these will go to HT to give the 271 a full TEH allocation, or the 271 will instead have a VWH allocation (from the 43) with TEHs returning to EW. W could perhaps convert the 210 and 632/643 to TEHs from the 266, but would only need a few additional vehicles to those already at W to do so. Assuming the 08/58reg TEHs may be withdrawn soon, there's a total of 71 TEHs (60, 61, 13 and 15 reg). The 32 needs 19, and the 332 needs 17. If the 210 and 632/643 were to also be allocated TEHs, that's another 21 vehicles. That leaves 14 more TEHs - suitable for either the 271 at HT, or the 240 at EW (the remaining few vehicles could go on the 606).

Why do them VMH’s that had the external pedestrian alarm, have like a white line around the front of the bus? Is there a reason or is it just some new design.... when I first saw it last year, I thought it was duct tape lol

I agree it looks ridiculous.

What you describe were experimental TfL "safety" designs imposed upon ML. The white reflective tape is noticeable as it stands out, however the beeping alarm is annoying and just blends into the background of a busy Oxford Street.

A waste of money personally - if you can't see a massive red bus and you don't have some sort of condition such as blindness, then you really shouldn't be out and about.
