I didn't see the full blind change but the OMEs seem to have HT routes on their blind as I saw the 43 and possibly the 271 The BDE's also at the least have blinds for the 84 so presumably both batches of electric deckers are carrying the same blindsets to an extent.

So presumably they can loan both types to both garages if they wanted to?

Does anyone know what happended to the 55 reg VW (ex First VNWs) after they were withdrawn? I know some of them went to a company in Ireland. Not sure about the rest though.

will the 209 DEs go when the route goes to Go Ahead or will the 190 DMs go instead? I don’t think it’s been confirmed. But, the DMs are EuroVI and the same age as the DEs. I don’t think there’d be much point replacing the DMs for two years unless they’re unreliable. Although the other factor is that the DMs are a non standard type so if Metroline want to simplify fleets at AH, and reduce to two SD types at AH that could be a reason for ousting the DMs. Metroline will have a lot of spare DEs by the end of August, when the 209/214/232 have all gone to GAL. It remains to be seen what their fate is but if Metroline own them then I expect some of the older examples to be sold

Lots says that the VMHs at PA are being used to replace the SELs on the 297.

Will the 90 ever get it's VMHs. Couldn't Metroline have put the VMHs on the 31 and the VWs can go on the 297 to replace the SELs.

Lots says that the VMHs at PA are being used to replace the SELs on the 297. I think it was always the plan that the 297 would get VMHs eventually. They were temporarily allocated to the 43 and 134 so that both routes would comply with the ULEZ until their electric buses were delivered.

The DM’s also seem a bit nippier in comparison and have actual legroom at the rear.

The original plan was they’d go to the 90 given that what the first batch of VMH25* were ordered for. Considering there will be extra VMHs still after the 90 or 297 gets VMHs then they may just send them to PA as well, and then both the 90 and 297 will be VMH allocated (One will probably not have a full allocation though - as there is not enough for that).

I have worked out that in order to replace all the SELs currently at PA, Metroline would need 27 VMHs, this is because:
Route 90 is allocated 5 VWs. Route 297 is allocated 3 VWs.
Unless the VWs are also expected to move?
