Which is running as far as Prince Regent, then the DLR onwards. Personally, i'm just going to get the train to Manor Park, or the tube to East Ham and get the 101/474 down to Cyprus.

They've now started to lay the track either side of the flyover. Noticed they're about halfway between the flyover and Royal Victoria now, plus all trains are being restricted to a slower speed while going past

I am trying to work out how trains are going to run to the new flying junction at Canning Town from Beckton. Can anybody help are there any diagrams? One was mentioned on another site as being accurate, at the bottom of this page: www.thetrams.co.uk/dlr/stratint/

One was mentioned on another site as being accurate, at the bottom of this page: www.thetrams.co.uk/dlr/stratint/Ok, now i see how its all going to work. I must admit, makes alot of sense really and should enable a smoother journey between Royal Victoria and Canning Town. All the stations are under construction that have been mentioned, while i saw them laying cement at West Ham for the tracks, rather than ballast. So, if the diagrams to be correct, would the Beckton line now operate Beckton - Tower Gateway/Stratford International rather than the Beckton - Tower Gateway/Canning Town services as it is now?

Yes, that is the plan. I think it is supposed to be every 5 minutes off-peak on the Stratford International branch, alternating between Beckton and Woolwich Arsenal. An issue will be catching a Beckton or Woolwich train at Canning Town though as they will be leave from both sets of platforms. A similar sort of situation to Camden Town on the Underground.

Much easier when its a footbridge like at Waterloo East where commuters can see next Charing Cross Train approaching.

Still, only got until the end of June and then i won't be using the DLR again until October, so then i'll notice a huge difference in what they've done ;D
