Travelled on SEN19 this morning. I agree it's shaking, rattling and rolling all the way to the front of the bus. Nothing natural. They didn't do it when new so something has been altered. Another engineer told me it's probably a knackered driveshaft. I'm not mechanically minded so no idea what that means lol. Drive shaft is connected from the gearbox to the differential (rear axle). Buggered differentials do make loud whirring noises typically when a vehicle is at a decent speed.

Those early enviros do seem to do that, when Bromley had the 58 plates some did this and the engineer said it was worn engine mountings.

Think that's the first I've heard of a route transferring garages due to staffing issues. This baffles me however as the route starts and terminates in two areas within MB's operating area (or former operating area in the case of Woolwich) so I'm not quite sure why they're struggling for staff for the 51. Fleet wise, I would estimate that the original allocation of WVL's and ex First EN's will go to BX with it with theex Abellio EN's which haven't been fully refurbished remaining for the 353 as its contract is due to end next year. I don't see why they would keep the recently refurbished WVL's on the 353 especially when the contract is up for renewal unless it gains a two year extension. I found out a couple of weeks ago but forgot to post it. BX is fully staffed where as MB isnt plus i think we need space for long buses as well. Nothing to do with space

What will happen to WVL296 - 299 once they finished their stint as refurb covers? Could they go to C, NP or RR to replace WVLs? They will not be going to C. Currently the option of getting some spare E400's in to replace WVL238-240 is being explored. WVL366 meanwhile should be staying for the 663. They'll return to BX

As I said earlier in the thread Plumstead had the same problem. These are 11 plates.

WVN41 is labelled as ULEZ compliment - I believe this is a mistake, could someone confirm this before I report it to GAL?

It didn’t, I was on it on the 131 and saw a green “ULEZ compliment” sticker, I was a bit confused. Last time I remembered, B9TLs couldn’t be upgraded to Euro VI Hybrid...

They could be upgraded to Euro 6 Diesel but not Euro 6 hybrid. Who told you that they couldn’t? Nevertheless it should not be holding a ULEZ Compliant sticker, it is incorrect, they may only be a Euro 6 Diesel this means they are not to be ran in the ULEZ.
