It looks hideous but have to give them some credit - the interior wasn’t bad It looks fine imo but really weird as on the continent it's mostly a BRT bus (often in the articulated variant)... with all-door boarding on BRTs which helps with the narrow door at the front. Agree, saw the same type last year in Barcelona and they didn't look that bad. I'd argue it's just TfL red not suiting it. Kind of look forward to riding them on the 358!

SEe277 & 280 have been delivered to AL from Q this morning, the Me that was towed here a few days ago is still here, left on the side. Most of the others are still at PL.

I wonder if Go Ahead are doing refresher training on the Me for all drivers to show any new safety features? Probably insurance or union related.

Ee151 has been involved in a RTC yesterday on Croydon Flyover while on the 154
Looks like just the front windscreen has been badly smashed and nothing that can’t be fixed.

Ee185 was out on the 57 yesterday without working displays. A relatively new bus. Just an A4 57 in the windscreen.
It's time that Go Ahead realise that this is unacceptable.

I don’t think it’s fair to brand Go-Ahead as a whole unacceptable. Most garages are quite good with displays/blonds. AL does appear to be a big issue for it though with a lot of the diesels having faulty smart blinds and looks like the isssie is extending to the Ees.

Saw it half an hour ago displaying "Kingston 5" with the A4 57 still in the windscreen, so would assume the right side of the display is broken.

Buses must have working displays with lettering and numbers of specified minimum sizes. Buses should be checked before entering service each day and substituted if a fault develops during the day. Go Ahead ran SEe9 for more than a year without a working display so they have form. (Partially fixed now)

There’s been a paper blind Ee for a while and it’s happened to SEes also. This is 100% an AL problem and not a GAL one, none of the other GAL garages in Tooting ( C / Q / SW ) have any problems for example.

I’ve seen Abellio vehicles running without route numbers recently. I saw a 407 last night with only a destination showing. Not even a paper blind for the route number. Let’s not act like this is just a singular operator thing. They are all having issues.

That said AL really are appalling.

It's an AL issue from the looks of thing not excusing the fact it's very bad. AF and the buses I see running from SW don't have the same issue.
