It has been stated in the latest edition of BUSES mag get down to your local whsmith or border's book shop go to magazines and transport pick up buses mag, the first few pages in there are three pics of HV3 LJ09KOH been shown off at Alexandra Palace and on the left and page there is a column on the left stating that 93 wright gemini 2 b9tls have been ordered for london, in addition to 31 ordered for first for route 83, go ahead has ordered 62 la la la lol, also says go ahead are going to trail a MCV bodied B9TL to london specs. Now I have never heard of MCV producing a Double decker body before but this is what is stated in BUSES mag. I actually did read on a while back that they were planning such a body on the B9TL. Can't remember the site though.

LDP150 (Y805 TGH) has returned off loan from East Thames Buses. Likewise, 304/8 (P304/8 HDP) have returned to Metrobus & 303 (HW54 BTX) has returned to Southern Vectis.
Apologies if it's been mentioned
Taken from Bus Magazine August 2009

So simon 62 Gemini 2 b9tls have been ordered indeed by Go ahead you say for routes 21, 63 & TG1 only one problem the 21s new pvr is 25 and the 63 is 27 the TG1 is 14 so 62 buses cant cover all this, plus there is a problem of no spare buses. Not 100% sure - the order numbers may be slightly out or there was originally to be a hybrid element to route TG1 so it's possible this has re-emerged but I have not heard. If I can find out I'll report.

Thanks for that (I did see your other post after I had posted) There's no gaurentee that the 62 ordered are for the 21, 63 AND TG1, could just be the 21 and 63 for now...we will see when they start arriving.

What is the yard they have buses in near Sevenoaks way in orpington. I passed there today and they was some Pointer 1s and some de-branded Presidents? Some from London with blinds showing 85 and 344.
I think it is the old First Orpington Buses Garage.

If you were there, stop and ask someone, providing you are polite, most staff will be glad to help from my own experience!
