Last night about 2340ish I boarded a route 59 outside Holborn Station towards Kings Cross. It was an Arriva DLA. Sorry no fleet number or run no. When we got to Tavistock square it suddenly announced "Brent Cross Pennine Drive". Then went back to normal. ;D I've not come across an ibus announcemnt doing this before?? - most odd. Stuart.

They do sometimes, think its where the GPS gets confused as to where it is, common if GPS signal is lost.

I believe that its to do with files not being downloaded correctly to the bus. Maybe because its been parked too far away from the WLAN (Wireless local area network) I think it stands for or there is a faulty aerial so the bus is not picking up the correct signals. That is what I was advised some time ago when I followed up a U3 incident reported on here. Must admit I don't understand all this technical stuff - so in a nutshell its broken, report it and it can be fixed Best thing to do is get the vehicle details and report them for the ibus faults thread on here.
