Try and guess these 10 different bus stations/interchanges. Im not very good at quizzes....but here goes
1) Has one route which enters Essex. You can change here for National Rail and the Underground. Another route from here also enters Essex, but only at certain times of the year.
2) Is a TfL bus station, but isn't in London. There are both TfL services and commercial services (some operators include Arriva and Metroline). One service starts here, and ends up where London services operate, but is not a TfL service.
3) A London train terminus bus station. There used to be a shuttle service to London City Airport from here. One route only serves this station at weekends. One service is operated by Travel London. A route that starts here has been seen in the film The Da Vinci Code.
4) Two TfL services use this bus station, and it is not in London. It gets very busy at Christmas. One of the operators here has a new name, and is part of a bus group owned by an Austrialian Bank.
5) This bus station has a wide variety of bus services. From here, by not using a bus service, you could end up in Aberdeen, Lisbon, New York, or even Cape Town. One bus service operates to Essex! ....
6) A major interchange, which may be seen by many different countries soon. One service operates to south london, and can be quite unreliable and sometimes has lengthy diversions. A bendy-bus service operates here aswell.
7) Not in London. 4 TfL services serve this interchange. The Underground can be used from here. 2 services are operated by Arriva, the other two are operated by a company part of Go-Ahead group. By using the bus from here, you could end up in a town which used to have a London Country garage.
8) This interchange is at a terminus of a railway. The railway here nearly got extended into a forest area. Bus services here operate south further into London, and into Essex and Hertfordshire. This interchange has one of the shortest TfL services. One service used to be operated by non-red buses and is still operated by the same company.
9) An incredibly underused bus station/terminus. Non-red shuttle services used to operate here. One route is operated by a Go-Ahead company. It is in an area which used to be famous around the world! It is served by a quite new railway extension which can be used to get to South London.
10) Last but not least. This bus station/interchange has had many non-TfL services serve here, and only one now remains. At one point, buses could be used to get to Stansted Airport. Two Night bus services serve here. One service is very infrequent and ends up in the middle of nowhere, no exaggeration. 3 services operate into Essex.
