Question A Do you collect Model Buses?
Question B If you do, does your collection have a particular theme/operator etc?
I suppose I would be classed as a collector as I probably have about 50 approx buses - mostly LT but others that 'just took my fancy' usually from the bargain buckets at rallies.
However, for the last 2 years I really have only collected buses that are routes I use or that my wife has driven. The last vehicle added was the Dart/E200 for route 192.
Now does anyone know where I can get blinds to change my Arriva route 141 VLW to either a 168 or 125?

Answer A - yes
Answer 2 - (?) yes, as with the LBTG, I developed my own fictional company.
All vehicles selected are as close as possible to 1/76 scale (00 gauge in mdel railway speak).

Answer A: have done on occasion
Answer B: no theme - just all random
I currently have one East Yorkshire Trident/ALX400 (no.661), one LT Metrobus (M1447), one open-top Sightseeing Trident/President, and a Stagecoach East London Titan (T465).
Saying that I'm considering selling the open-top Trident and Titan...

A: I hope to start collecting more buses once I have more money available and somewhere more suitable to store them B: I do hope to collect some East London/Selkent or GO Ahead models, but i'm also hoping to get some older one's (maybe an RT/RM or a Titan etc etc) ATM, I only own one model, A London Central LDP142 Which is on route C10

Yes i collect model buses, and they have taken up WAY too much space, but i cant get rid of any. I just collect random buses really, mostly modern types. Alot of my earlier models have missing mirrors and windscreen wipers, and some have been completly vandalised where i have attempted to 'adapt' them into other liveries etc. I haven't succeded with that yet I would love a model of an ALX200 to be made

Question A - Yes Question B - Not so much a favourite operator or theme but each one has a story behind it.
I have a model of: - T1, with the significance being that it is a Titan and numbered 1 so there ;D - The Spirit of London in Stagecoach Livery (the significance being obvious) - A route 73 bendy mostly because it was what replaced the great Routemaster - A Stagecoach 453 bendy because it was a limited edition

I just used some chipboard for the base, they some acrylic paint, black and white mixed to a right colour grey. Make sure you have the roads penciled out before hand and do masking if need be. Any other Questions just PM me.

You can use the image code to show them on here - click the icon next to the globe on reply to thread to put the code in and on the picture right click and select "Copy Image Address" or whatever the Internet Explorer equivalent is.
