The revised gyratory arrangement at Highbury Corner has now gone live.
I assume this means the removal of Highbury Corner turns for routes like the 19 as there is no longer a roundabout to turn round on? May place more strain on controllers and also on the possible use of Highbury Barn stand.

Mini rant, weather is getting warm and there are more cases of mcflurry cups all over buses, can't freaking stand these no manner people just trashing the buses man, some of them don't even bother putting it on the floor and just leave them on the seat I mean come on??? I feel like TFL should sort of put more banners up or something in the bus not to scare people off with fare evasion which they don't care anyways, but trashing bus £1000 penalty, you only live once...This is not just the case in outer central London areas, but even in central, tourists get on these buses and the condition of cleanliness is worse than in some public toilets or streets. Ridiculous, welcome to London.

People should not eat smelly food on the bus, and take their rubbish away with them.

It infuriates me how little respect these people have and they are so self centred they only care about their own wants/needs

Here it seems to be the norm. I recently returned from Dubai and was amazed at how clean it is and how polite everyone was even though the country is ran by expats so to speak.

Banana peels, coffee cups, leftover sushi boxes (!!!), empty plastic bottles, empty beer cans, glass bottles, chicken boxes, half-eaten chicken wings- the list is endless. I don’t have an issue in people eating and drinking but for heaven’s sake take away the trash!

Ironically I had that yesterday, and someone actually sat on it too, I cleaned it up later myself in the stand to not lose mileage basically, not a big deal I wouldn't clean vomit or anything but still it's a joke.

Progress saw us remove conductors from buses, together with bins for used tickets that could also be used for other rubbish, within reason.

To be fair this has more to do with the Oyster Card and now contactless than conductors. Prior to Oyster one-man buses issued tickets, so there was a used ticket bin even on these buses.

Wow, I recently visited Dubai and Abu Dhabi and I have to agree with you, the buses, metro and the general streets and surroundings were spectacularly clean. London's transport system is one of the most well known, high end transport systems in the world and its a shame to see some buses and trains in a disgusting state. I think TfL should implement stricter rules on littering, the extra cash can come in handy due to the TfL being cash strapped and the government stopping their payments to TfL.

Can't stand the stuff - not only is it disgusting to chew but also disgusting due to how sticky it is and incredibly annoying to clean off. Along with people spitting in the street, it's my biggest bug bear.
