Perhaps they could install a guest appearance from Mr T when buses approach an airport

Ive always thought the bloke that does the voice of the croydon tramlink is very good. He has a very clear voice. That is Nicholas Owen, who used to read the news for ITN but now works for the BBC News Channel and is often on BBC one at weekends.

I'd like to hear Boycie (John Challis) of Only Fools And Horses fame do the announcement for "This bus will be held here briefly in order to help regulate the service" after saying it he'd give off that god awful laugh he has just to rub it in!!

That would be more effective on a last minute curtailment, ie THIS BUS TERMINATES HERE. ;D

you could have different voices for different bits of london, Boycie for Peckham, Babs Windsor for all the East London routes, the Queen doing 'alight here for Buckingham Palace'. Ray Davies for Muswell Hill. Some famous aussie for Earl's court... ermm... help... can't think of any more

They did have special guest readers for the Speaking Clock a while ago; why can't they do that for iBus, maybe over Christmas or something?
How long does it take to record all the stuff they need to?
