Wonder why London Sovereign wasn't included in the merger.
If they didn't want this are they likely to buy anything else to expand ?
Also wonder what the future will be for Harrow and Edgware, will someone else buy them ?
Virtually all Harrow's routes are up for renewal in 16 months
BT only has 4 routes (although they are safe for a few years)
I expect SO will hire London United's DPS fleet until contract expiry Sept2011
there is also 7 enviro 200s DE50-DE56 bought for route 324 (which didn't happen)
BT's fleet is more interesting as it includes common purchases with London United (except VLP)
28 omnideckers SLE1-6, SLE21-42 mainly for route 13 (contract started Aug 2008)
13 vykings VLE27-39 for route 114 (also uses some SLE) (contract started Sep 2009)
20 omnicitys SP68-87 for route 183 (contract started Sep 2009)
10 Presidents VLP18-27 for route 292 (contract started Dec 2008)
plenty of potential for swapping some fleets before the formal split (does BT really want four types), wouldn't it be better to give them all 64 SLE and give LU the VLE and SP, presumably TfL have to agree to transfer anyway so accepting changes could also be requested
