As I haven't posted here for a while, people may be interested to learn that Corgi have announced models of the Gemini 2 in Harry Potter Studio Tour livery (Mullany's), a Green Line 702 Gemini 2 (which will also come as an option with 15/Tower Hill as a destination), and London General liveried LT60. With EFE, they have recently released a second NBC green RML, on Slough area route 407, but sadly you'll now have to wait until December for the Shoplinker RM

Corgi have today announced that they will be releasing a model of WVL337 in East London Transit livery, due out in December. Bit late for that, surely it would be better to do this in its current single door layout for the X26?

If you visit www.ooczone.co.uk, it states they’ll be blinded for EL1 Ilford Station and EL2 Thames View Estate.

Do remember that model bus companies tend to have their models in its most original or iconic state. Seeming as it’s a model based off the ELT, I wouldn’t say it’s a ‘bit late’ to have WVL337 modelled in its original form, nor would I have expected it to display anything related to the X26 (despite the changes IRL).

By that token then, the RT model EFE are bringing out next month (RT2177 on route 12) is very late indeed 😂

Corgi have just announced their model issues for 2019.
There will be no OOC bus models this year. Not just no new castings. No models at all. Corgi are concentrating on aircraft, cars and film/TV tie ins.
Thank goodness for EFE and Northcord...

Whilst on the subject of EFE - I haven't seen anything on this Forum yet about EFE's recent release of RT3853.
This is a reproduction of the last crew-operated vehicle to operate on Catford Garage (TL) route 75 on 25th February 1977. It is blinded for route 75 with CATFORD GARAGE destination and carries reproductions of the same adverts that RT3853 carried on that day.
LT Museum shop has several in stock, as well as the RT2177 model mentioned above and another recently-released EFE model, that of RM177 on route 177 to Abbey Wood (although an RT route before conversion to OMO in 1972, it latterly had RMs allocated at weekends).

I now have my model of RT3853 - it’s proof that even an old casting can be lifted considerably by excellent printing. 😊

If you like the East Lancs Scanias, a new model of the Go-Ahead SO class has been commissioned from Britbus - SO5 on route 425 - choice of destinations - Clapton or Stratford.
Details from Chris Cotton : cwc18@live dot co dot uk (change the obvious dots!)
