I came across this video on YouTube just now: This is a viral advert for a mobile phone (the HTC Hero in fact), and was clearly choreographed and scripted. If you watch the video you'll also see that the second bus to appear carries a poster for the advertised mobile phone on the rear, so the two were obviously hired for the purpose of filming this ad. Unfortunately this video appears to have heavily influenced a group of Maidstone schoolkids, and this is the result: What an utterly mindless and stupid act to do. That kid could have been seriously injured or worse. I gather this is not new though as teenagers in London were engaging in this sort of behaviour as far back as the 80's. Link to newspaper story about the 'copycat' stunt here.

Wouldnt it be a shame if the broke their legs, or even worse their backs ;D
An incredibly stupid thing to do! But, this sort of thing has always happened, since the dawn of time (even if buses didnt exist then! ;D), so theres not much point worrying about it, no matter how pathetic it is :/
The advertisement company is certainly to blame for this. Like ALL mobile phone adverts, it is completley annoying and stupid, as its aimed at the 'younger generation' (of which I am one).
I also cant believe they actually needed to choreograph and script this. They could have saved money and just used the CCTV from Lewisham or somewhere ;D

Bit dissapointed to see that it hasn't came with a warning discouraging people from trying it theirselves though... or maybe there is a warning which wasn't included in this clip.
