To be honest CT Plus is not bad. I use their hire fleet during school to get to Drapers Field. The bus is PL51 KZC. Also i think they should get themselves another depot. I'm so glad the Lolyne's on the 388 are staying ;D

I really like CT Plus, never had a problem with them.
As they are one of the last 'small companies' in London, I do prefer CT Plus to the other big operators.
One thing though, I really dislike the Esteems on the W13. The seats are cramped and uncomfortable, and i think the bus is just plain ugly.

I mainly avoid W13 unless they have the odd workings

Maybe he means another (different) depot, rather than another (additional) depot?

Wouldn't be surprised if First London lose more routes like the D6/7/8 and 339. I wonder how CT Plus would do with the 212 and W12, hopefully i think they would do better [/quote]

They are Omnicity DD's, Optare Omnidekka's are only operated by NCT and Constable so far.

Had a ride on CT Plus routes 212 and W12 today, to see the new buses.
The Omnicities on the 212 were impressive. Usually I dont like the Omnicity, but i like it with CT Plus Also, the legroom was very surprising! . I had a ride on SD3 (YR59NPD), seeing many other Omnicities including YR59NPJ.
The W12 Solo's where very nice, I also loved the interior on them. There isn't much difference from the First Solos. I had a ride on OS8 (YJ10EYL), seeing other Solos including OS6 (YJ10EYH) and OS7 (YJ10EHJ ? ). I think CT Plus may have had a few teething problems (which is of course understandable), as I saw two W12's in a row towards Coppermill Lane at South Woodford, and this route has a 20 min frequency.
Alot of the drivers for these routes are new drivers I think, as you could tell they were still getting used to the buses and route - they were good drivers though.
Also notice that CT Plus have a new logo, which I like very much.

Why, what has First done so wrong. I really do not understand this ill feeling to them. That doesn't make sense, you either like them or you don't. Whats so different from CT Plus' Omnicity DD's to any other?

Why, what has First done so wrong. I really do not understand this ill feeling to them. That doesn't make sense, you either like them or you don't. Whats so different from CT Plus' Omnicity DD's to any other? I can answer both for you. The first question, well First are awful. I've never had a good thing to say about them, well, other than Greeny. Other than that, i really don't like them. London is the better operation for them, but outside it's another story. Vehicles are filthy, maintenance is poor, drivers are rude and blinds end up absolutely disgraceful. No, i'm not on about Metroline, but First ;D The second, granted the comfort specs on the Omnicity can't really change due to its weight, but i prefer the ELBG ones for their materialistic appeal. In other words, they look smarter inside and out compared to say Go-Ahead or Transdev examples.
