Since Boris introduced the alcohol ban on the tube, has anyone noticed any differences? I can say i havent. I regularly travel to and from London on the Central on Friday/Saturday nights, and almost everyone is drinking! (and tbh, I did have a beer the other day ). There is NO ONE to enforce the ban, so obviously people are just going to ignore the rules. I feel quite unsafe on the tube at night, as there doesnt seem to be many staff around anymore, or any police. Also, I am fed up with sharing my carriage with p*ssheads. One night, there were a bunch of 'girls' who were running up and down the train, and some of them decided to crouch down and urinate. Arn't us young people lovely? ;D And yesterday about 6pm, at Epping, there was a man who I think was on drugs and drunk (a great combination!), was shouting the worst abuse I have ever seen at everyone, and at one point opened the emergency doors between the carriage and had a pee- then slammed the door shut afterwards, then offered me drugs. Police? Tube staff? Well, there wasn't any. So, has anyone seen any enforcement against alcohol on the tubes?

Sadly I'm not surprised to hear any of this Re: that man at Epping - how stupid is he... he could have fallen down the gap between carriages (I'm assuming the train was moving at the time or was it stationary?) And it was the section between Epping and Theydon Bois which gets very fast and also wobbly, so he could easily have fallen through (which would have been his own fault) especially as he was drunk. Also, can't you get electricuted if you urinate on the live rail?

I've seen no difference what so ever. People still drink on the buses, and the Underground. However, the one form i have seen a change on is the DLR, obviously with PSA's, who tell passengers they cannot drink on board

Just to make sure, is it illegal to carry alcohol on the train aswell as drinking, or is it just illegal to drink alcohol. Thanks
