The 498 school bus. Does a 498 then the 265 then 498 and the hands over to a 365 3 routes in 1 day lol In reference to Coin's post, again another operator making use of a Spreadvoer bus. Interworking in more common in london than pople think, it's just not as noticable as the Service frequencies are generally higher.

In my area, interworking isn't that common. I'm not aware of any interworking in the Harlow, Hertford, Epping, Loughton areas, which I know well. Although I suspect some of the Harlow routes may interwork.
Its definatly very common practice with Stagecoach East Kent. Most routes they operate interwork with others. It seems alot of drivers operate 2 or more routes in the same day using the same bus. This means large double deckers often end up running on lightly used village services using very narrow lanes - which certainly tests the drivers, and is certainly interesting sitting at the front of the top deck! ;D
I've noticed its common practice for Stagecoach East Kent to change the blinds before entering bus stations to avoid confusion, which is how I know that most routes are interworked.

To be honest, what with companies trying to cut costs and create efficiencies, a lot more interworking will indeed take place, even in london.
