What are the chances are Sullivan Buses gaining the 324, I would obviously like us at Metroline to retain the route but I wouldn't rule out Sullivan Buses as they do intend to go for the small PVR routes and SM isn't too far from Stanmore. To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if Sullivan Buses were to win the 324 I feel like it is low chances of Sullivan Buses gaining the route - as someone else said they have staffing issues, and space may also be an issue. SM is also quite far from Stanmore, being 9.6KM away, compared to W, which is only 1.4KM away from Brent Cross, Tesco and only 8.4KM from Stanmore (So even going to the furthest end of the route is still 1KM closer then SM is to its closest end). I wouldn't rule them out, but personally I think it is unlikely. Personally I can see a retain here and also hope for that to be the outcome.

Having looked at what I suppose is the latest fleetlist (dated 18/09/19) Of the 'Heritage' fleet, only RML2272 is listed. Has the remainder (DT4, M2, RM1069, RMC1487, RML2428/2429 & T890) been disposed of?

Reading the codes at the bottom of the list suggests that RML2272 is part of the operational fleet for Thorpe Park services. The list seems to be just the operational fleet.

The preserved buses always used to be on the fleetlist. I have a vague memory that Sullivans were offering some of their preserved buses for sale or other disposal but can't remember the details. Perhaps they've found good homes for them. Or maybe they are now owned by individual staff (or Dean himself) rather than being company assets, so are no longer on the fleetlist.

It looks like operation of the Staines to Thorpe Park route 950 may transfer from the current 5-vehicle ‘London & the South East’ area ‘Sullivan Bus & Coach Ltd’ licence (PK1005547), to a new 6-vehicle one that has been applied for under the name ‘Thorpe Park Buses Limited’ (PK2028071). The new company is shown as being incorporated in September with Dean as Director.

Don’t think I’ve seen it mentioned but the days of operation for the 603 has changed due to different holiday times of the schools it serves. It will now operate during half terms and Easter holidays but not over Christmas and summer holidays.

When the 692/699 move to Uno will we see the TPL’s and WVL’s withdrawn?

Forgive me if this has been asked before - "Sullivan Bus & Coach" - have they ever operated any coaches? (Disclaimer - if they have it was before my time).

Forgive me if this has been asked before - "Sullivan Bus & Coach" - have they ever operated any coaches? (Disclaimer - if they have it was before my time). Think they might have inherited a few coaches when they bought Southlands Travel in Kent, although if they did, I don't think any of the coahces appeared with the Sullivan name. The Southlands operation didn't last long anyway.
I suppose when Dean started the company with just the one bus he wouldn't have known how things were going to pan out!

Thanks for that - just wondered.

Due to the current climate, the DS and WVL class buses have been grounded until further notice as no longer economically viable to run them. They all have big stickers on the windscreen saying "VEHICLE STOOD DOWN". A big shame as they were some of the best buses to drive but very thirsty hence being stood down.
