Wednesday, was out on the T33. Wellesley Road was closed again because of this silly crane in Hogarth Crescent or Newgate (whatever the name of the road is) which also affected Whitehorse road and St James Road. The traffic in West Croydon was bordering on the ridiculous and there was plenty problems on all routes there.
Around 1700, I got to East Croydon and had to leave a few passengers behind as my bus was packed and the 64s were all over the place. At around 1800 I got the stop before East Croydon and my bus was really full. I got to East Croydon and there must have been about 200 people at the stop I picked up about 10 and left the many behind. One passenger was moaning about the lack of the 64 bus.
Around 1845, I got to Addington Village and sat there for a few minutes as my leader only just left. Suddenly, Ibus calls me up, moans at me for not leaving straight away and then says im delaying the service He then tells me to run light from there to West Croydon A good thing as I was due to have my break around 1900. I tried to go through Reeves Corner but it was no use as a 468 is waiting to turn right from Station Road into London Road, completely blocking the junction.
Anyway, here are some turns... T33 to Selsdon 64 to Selsdon and plenty more to West Croydon 157 to West Croydon - several of these 194 to Shirley - a surprisingly short turn! 289 to Thornton Heath Pond 198 to West Croydon and Thornton Heath Pond 410 to Beddington Library 109 to Streatham Hill
