Brilliant driver, i have always been against driverless underground trains but if they keep striking i can see driverless ones being the favour, they are on good money and dont see why they need to strike, after all we are in a recession and they should be glad they have a job

Now, I'm not in favour of the Olympics but many are and need the transport system to get to the stadias, as well as everyday things such as work & shopping. Also, it won't impress other countries when they visit London and can't get around due to people striking.

Just because they are paid well, it doesn't mean they don't have a right to be unhappy with certain things like Boxing day especially as national rail didn't run a service. Driverless trains won't be here any time soon - although they will be automatically driven, they will need a fully qualified member if staff on board. Why don't the buses strike to get better terms and conditions?

Why don't the buses strike to get better terms and conditions? Len McKluskey has already threatened to make sure the buses strike during the Olympics. As usual, the unions think of theirselves and their own mega pay packets. Us ordinary people need the buses to get around London so no, they shouldn't strike and neither should the tube - especially during a recession!!
