I don't seem to be able to create a new thread in the Bus Rallies and Events Board - would a member of Management be able to move this to that Board please? ____________________________________________________ Taken from LOTS...(and reproduced as not every enthusiast is a member - shame on you!) Route 38 was first introduced on 16th June 1912, events to celebrate its Centenary can be found on www.arrivalondon.com. In particular, a 'Walk the 38' proposal is to support Maggie's, the cancer charity. A 'mini' running day on the 38 is planned for Sunday 17th June, using three of Arriva's 'Heritage Fleet' Routemasters plus a small number of invited guest vehicles

What would the guest vehicles would be? It would increase the fleet on the route 38 for the day. But might never know a commuter that go into a heritage bus would get a free ride.

The video's not mine so they deserve to get some views. diamondgeezer.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/two-38s.htmlGood article about the 100 years of route 38 on the blog. Well at least 4 heritage buses and a few New Bus for London were in service to celebrate the 100 years of Route 38. I thought some preserved owners of the heritage buses would join in like what they did with the Heritage routes. I think in my opinion that TFL should do a heritage route for route 38. So happy 100th to Route 38.
