customcoaches.com.au/adls-acquisition-of-custom-coaches/Has been recently announced that ADL has purchased Custom Coaches from Australia. Custom's are one of the big two of Australian bus building with contracts with the state governments of SA, NSW and the ACT as well as many private bus companies. Of late Customs and ADL have worked in partnership with Customs building a bus using ADL Hybrid technology. Me thinks with some Australian operators looking at double deckers once more that interesting times are ahead. I also hope some of the Australian styling makes it's way back to the UK. The CB80 body in the pictures below would look pretty good on the streets of London and the UK, sure beats the E200 (or what ever it is called this week) customcoaches.com.au/showroom/cb80-city-bus/

I do agree that the CB80 looks better then the E20D. Also their interior is fitted with bench seats which is another factor for my liking.

The seats are customer specific, though the bench seats in the pics are the in-house option and are used by many customers including the STA (Sydney Government buses) who is one of Custom Coaches biggest customers.

I would much rather this CB80 bus than the Enviro 200, looks very sleek IMO.
