My thoughts are on them possibly letting it go, with Sullivan Buses probably getting it, which would go well with their current portfolio of routes. Of course Metroline could get it or GAL from NP, but my thoughts are on it most likely being Sullivan Buses. Where has this idea of companies letting go of routes come from? We've heard tales but very shady proof which shouldn't even be disclosed..is there anything to suggest UNO are going to surrender it? I assumed the previous comments related to deciding not to bid for it again or possibly not opting for a QI extension if they've done well to qualify for one. Those are perfectly legitimate options for any business just as are deciding *to* bid or to opt to take a QI extension. I can certainly envisage a scenario where Uno take the view that running a small TfL contracted route is not worth the bother alongside trying to make the rest of their business survive. There's no doubt that since HCC started cutting bus funding that Uno has had to retrench along with other operators. Equally if running the 383 turns a reasonable profit for Uno they may opt to bid for a further contract. I do agree with the view that they are likely to be up against Metroline and Sullivan Buses. IIRC the current Mayor has a policy of encouraging smaller scale businesses in winning TfL work so that may give Uno a small advantage along with Sullivans.

Let's bring more love to this thread.. Ladies, gentlemen and buses. I am honoured to announce that CT Plus and Universitybus (also known as Uno) have both been bought by the RATP Group. The CEO of the French Group, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has said that is an exciting opportunity of expansion for the ever expanding RATP Group into new territories, and it’s excellent compensation for the unfortunate tender losses of routes 27, 81, 267, E10, E11 & H13. Meanwhile, the CEO of the little Hackney and Walthamstow firm, Jose Mourinho, along with the CEO of the little Hertfordshire firm, David Moyes, have all said they are looking forward to doing business with the RATP Group and have high hopes that with this passionate business venture, it’ll bring them closer to being London’s top bus operator. The transition date and time of CT Plus and UNO heading into RATP ownership will be on September 31st at approximately 2500 hours. To celebrate this momentous occasion, CT Plus have ordered two very special 10.9m Enviro 200 MMC single decker buses by Alexander Dennis. They are special because firstly, they will be built with SmartPack, a highly successful fuel and energy saving package that is brilliant for making buses super slow. Secondly, they are special because they both carry personalised registration plates => AP19RYL & FO19OLS. These special buses will be put to work on routes 26 & 388 respectively. Lastly, all three CEOs have announced that this is an April Fools Day joke and none of these acquisitions have actually happened, so don’t take them seriously But.. they might happen..

It seems like SK07HLM (which is ex RATP SDE20211) is now acquired by UNO presumably as a extra spare bus for the 383. Any idea what is the fleet number of this particular Enviro 200?
EDIT: The fleet number is 605 as on LVF.

Pictures on one of the Facebook groups (UK Bus & Coach Enthusiasts) of 601 just returned from refurbishment.
Must say it looks very smart with additional black areas above the windows.
Might have missed it, but has the 383 tender been announced yet?

Thanks To Callum Connor from the UK Bus & Coach Enthusiasts Group on Facebook Route 383 is getting a "transformation" in partnership with TfL & UNO. Official Launch Ceremony will be on the 20th September in Friary Park. (Also to note that this isn't even the finished product apparently) Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted
