I just stumbled upon this site and it shows a tube map on Google Maps and the yellow pin points show the train on the map. traintimes.org.uk/map/tube/

they need to do one for the Buses, but since theres loads of buses are in service in London, they have to show the buses per route. by the way, there is a countdown for the tube trains on TFL mobile as well. m.tfl.gov.uk

On the live bus countdown app on my phone it now tells you the registration of the bus your waiting for . That could be very useful for us "Bus Spotters" might have a look into that. ;D Is it the free one or a paid one?

I also want it on the web browser as well because i rarely use a mobile. Update: Its called London Bus Checker its £2 for the iphone, but its worth the money monitoring the buses. thankfully it still shows the buses for the RM's and LT's

Seeing as the countdown is for passengers and not us enthusiasts, I don't see why you would have the registration or even fleetnumber on it. All you need is route number and destination - maybe at a very big push, they could add something to indicate that the next bus will be turning short.

It's called Live London Bus Tracker and is brilliant available on Android phones, it's recently been updated and now shows you predicted times for the bus along the route, so if I was waiting at Manor park say for a 25 going to Stratford but no 25's were at the Ilford end of the route it would show me the estimated time for the Bus going towards Ilford to get to Manor park then Ilford, the estimated turnaround time and the estimated departure time and the registration of the bus all using information from ibus ! And yes fantastically its free .
