Some kind of fault appears to have shown. Many routes say 'Buses used today etc' but show the following.. YJ12PKZ OV12 used between - 09:01 and 09:01 YJ60KGG OV4 used between - 10:01 and 10:01 How could this have been? The bus couldn't have only showed up for no minutes? Can anyone help? "So to explain this isn’t necessarily an error, just a function of the way the application works….. I have a background task that asks countdown for information every 15 mins daytime, (8:00 – 20:00 I think but would need to check) and every 20 mins over night. So if the program only records a vehicle once at 6am in the morning the vehicle could have been out for upto 40 mins…. I have looked at previous days for this route and it seems to be a common occurance…. Without access to the schedules I’d ask whether there are a number of short workings that occur….. The 2 at midnight are probably late evening buses doing their last journey…. I used to run the background task every 10 minutes day & night, but thought this might be seen by TFL as a bit excessive, as I do ask for all the info they have each time…. Its generally processing about 7000 vehicles during the day M-F on each run. Each run takes about 1min to run. Seeing this data is really only to fill in for vehicles that sometimes “disappear” off the countdown feed it seemed about right. The idea of displaying the data with other route information is a recent addition…." Regards Brian (The LVF Creator)
