The only thing I'd like to see improve with regards to iBus is the matter of destination announcements. Couple of occasions this week I've found missing destination announcements which, to be honest, could have been avoided. 1/. "86...to...." Romford, North Street Bus Garage has recently been added as a curtailment for this route. Now it's obviously got audio because every other NS route uses it but it wasn't there for the 86. 2/. "103....to..." Rainham Interchange this time. This extension has been in the pipeline for ages so surely the audio could have been recorded in anticipation? Good idea about the recordings as even at the moment theres some very obscure ones on their including "Epping, St Margrets Hospital", no idea why they recorded that.

5. I would like to see far better integration of I-Bus / Countdown with diversion / real time info. There is clearly the facilty for stop or route specific messages to be displayed but this is not routinely used. It needs to be used and it needs to be done properly. This is currently being addressed with a designated team specifically dealing with doing this along with updating the Twitter feed. Quite a challenge I'm sure you'll agree. Well that is encouraging to know. I agree that there is a substantial challenge but it is essential that this is done. It is not sensible for TfL to send out press releases, as they did yesterday, saying that a full real time disruption info service is now available via Countdown when it clearly is not.

Sort the failback issue out. There are many places were the buses cannot be tracked and therefore dont show on countdown. A prime example of this is Hounslow Bus Station forecourt and Metroline's Brentford Forecourt. You look when the next bus is due and it will often show the first bus as being due in something like 22 minutes when you can clearly see there is nearly 2 of each bus route sat on the stand.

There needs to be a way of the live countdown telling you when the bus stop is closed or the buses serving that bus stop are diverted and hence not serving that stop, especially with unplanned events/diversions. Just today I left my house when my bus was due in 2 mins only to find that the bus stop is closed, and a mad panic rush to the next stop. When buses are diverted the countdown tricks you by still showing the bus's due time.
