Hello Everyone.
The idea is that you must provide an answer to each question, but you are trying to give me the answers that you think nobody else will give. The scoring is the product of the number of people that give the same answer as you for each question, and if you provide an incorrect answer for any question then you automatically receive 50 points.
So Here it is Pointless Quiz 7! Answers Via PM Only. Deadline Will be Monday 5th November 2012 at 22:00 and the Results will be Posted Sometime on most probably the same evening or the next day!
Enjoy!
1. Name a funny/strange bus stop name in London. It must be on the iBus and Bus stop it can be named after a place or a road as long as it is funny/strange.
2. Name a Route Number between (1-100) Which Does Not Serve Central London.
3. Name a Scheduled Terminus on the Jubilee Line.
4. Name any TFL Route which serves 3 or more stations in a Row which you can get to faster by train, tube or DLR.
These stations must be on the same line and must be the next available station on the Bus Route. (The Name of the Stations Must Be Provided in Your Answer). 1 Point Will be Deducted if 4 or more per station. There must be a direct link which is scheduled to travel via these stops on the train. (It Must Be Shown on the iBus and Bus Stop) e.g. 136 St Johns Station next Station is Lewisham Station. I used this as an example as only 2 stations are available for use.
5. Name a TFL route which is currently or has been served by a Hybrid bus.
6. Name a Terminus in London Which Currently only has 1 TFL route standing there. Name the Route also.
7. Name a town which with TFL Routes Serving it which does not have any National Rail, DLR or Tube Stations.
8. Name a TFL Route Which Terminates at a Supermarket.
9. Name a bus type in London where currently less than 150 Models are currently in TFL service. Please differentiate if Necessary e.g. Volvo B9TL/Gemini 2, Only an example.
The example I've used, more than 150 are in service.
10. Name a Bus stop which is named after a public place. E.g. Tourist Attractions, Supermarkets, Pubs anywhere where the public congregate; As long as it still open or in Use. (No Stations Allowed), Must Be on the iBus Also
11. Name any National Rail station which is served by a fast or semi- fast train service.
Interpretation - This means the scheduled train must have skipped out at least 1 or more stops on that line to arrive at the station you pick. The stations can either be in London Borders or Exit London Borders. The train service must begin from London Terminals. Please put in Brackets the Destination Points of the Services/Services.
12. Name a TFL Route where the Monday - Friday Frequency is between 15 Minutes – 60 Minutes. (School Routes, Mobility Routes are not allowed.)
13. Name a TFL Bus stop name which is only on one side of the road.
Example
Southend Lane / Bromley Road in Bellingham. There are two bus stops on Southend Lane named “Southend Lane / Bromley Road”. You must find a Bus Stop where that Does Not Occur.
(One Way Streets Are Not Allowed, Alighting Points or Bus Stands)
Some Alighting Points are sometimes named after bus stops
The Bus must serve the Road in BOTH Directions. E.g. If Someone provided this answer “Le May Avenue / Luffman Road” on the 273 It will be incorrect because the 273 only serves that Road towards Lewisham Tesco.
My advice to you with this question is do not choose complicated Stops and avoid Bus Stations
