Cheers mate. Those blinds look awful, worse than I thought! I hope the operators quickly revert to yellow blinds.

They look ok, would have preferred white-on-blue like you get on the 607

White blinds get dirty and turn grey, so what's the reason for white blinds

'PVL371' mentioned a good point - the X68 and I'll extend it to the X26 should have these same style blinds. The X68's old blinds on the L's, DLA's & VLA's had 'First set down at' and then depending on what direction, West Norwood or Waterloo.

I'm sure I've seen a few Go-Ahead buses with "First stop ______" on the X68. It does seem very odd that a blue/white standard is used for one express route and not the other two. The X68 does note "Limited stop" (as does the 607) but I don't think the X26 has anything noting it's a limited stop service on the actual bus (obviously the stops actually do) If all buses had white on black and the 607 has blue on black is the distinction particularly even relevant anymore? How likely is the man on the street likely to notice the difference?

It's Tfl's choice though so time for a petition lol TfL wont care what we think about blinds... They might be clearer with the LED backlights... Though we should just cut to the chase and fit LED blinds themselves Sent from my GT-I9100 using proboards

Though we should just cut to the chase and fit LED blinds themselves Sent from my GT-I9100 using proboards I can't see why LED can't be used on buses when they're already used on the capital's DLR, London Underground/Overground and the Croydon trams. Surely they are all susceptible to the same sunlight glares as the buses. Many bus blinds in London are harder to see at night than with any visual problems LEDs may show in the day. I often travel to Brighton and never had any problem with visual displays on their LED equiped buses.
