It also features in a lot of pictures of the Enviro 400EV on the ADL website Don't think it is a demonstrator as such (a bus that is loaned out for trial by Operators) More a production bus, temporarily used for demonstration at the Coach and Bus show at NEC this week Think they just need to change the lower front panel and its ready, even has oyster stickers etc already added I'm guessing it is one of the last of Metroline batch, or early one for 94 for driver training etc

One of the Metrodeckers comes to mind (currently up North but London Red with all London decals applied)

Furthermore, Metroline's batch are all registered as 19-reg buses. I know some have suggested that BDEs yet to enter service will be 69-reg, but the BDEs which entered service in September were 19-reg.

YX69NXL has been confirmed elsewhere as a demonstrator.

Apologies if it has already been mentioned, but in response to a FoI (Freedom of Information) request, TfL has stated that routes 94, 100, 106, 212, 230, 323, 357, 444, C10 and P5 will all be converted to electric buses next year. Most have new contracts starting in 2020.
With the 106, 212, 230 and 357 added to the list, it looks like Go-Ahead London are working towards making Northumberland Park (NP) an all-electric depot.

So it's the 357 again and not the 35.

So it's the 357 again and not the 35. I have a suspicion TFL made a mistake when they mentioned the 35, they probably meant the 357 to be honest.

Or maybe Go ahead did once plan to introduce them on the 35 and 40 instead and send the hybrids to NP hence the TBC award.

"Adding to the 29 x BYD/ADL E400EVs for London United route 94, another order is for 49 of the same for Go-Ahead routes 106, 212, 230 and 357 next Spring."
- Quoted from LOTS

I thought electrics would be centered around Central London not outer London. Interesting that Go Ahead are turning NP into a electric bus base like RATP are doing with S.

Seems funny the 357 is getting electrics especially after it was possibly being considered for withdrawal a few months ago. Personally I would have hoped a central London route converted and the cascaded hybrids out to the 357.

Quite ironic too because the 476 is still a diesel despite it going into Central London, whereas the 357 is getting electrics.
