That requires going along the A12 and if that has issues then indeed you are in trouble. 25 does OK getting to Ilford on dead runs Yes, but some of these routes require going further than Gants Hill.

May find there's an announcement on this any day.. Few of the drivers have been mentioning staff from a certain company have been mooching round the depot for the past 4 days.

Loads of rumors going around the garage at the moment. I think it makes sense for go ahead to buy DM, close BE and SI and transfer everything to DM. But thats just a guess. Arriva could do the same as well - close DX and transfer everything to DM. Could shut both DX and GY if they got DM, most GY routes are in the Romford area.

Are technicaly run by different divisions. So a merger like that wouldn't be that easy. As GY is being run as low cost.

Will it be transferred to First Essex?

As for the 265 unless it makes a huge profit First could just withdraw the route?

In fact, certain companies (e.g. Go-Ahead) would be able to take DM but not LI as they'd go over the 25% limit.

In fact, certain companies (e.g. Go-Ahead) would be able to take DM but not LI as they'd go over the 25% limit. The 25% applies per O-Licence. Go Ahead could buy out both Garages. TFL would not allow it.
